Raw Brownie Bites. Who doesn’t love the sound of popping little brownie bites into your mouth? Fear not, waistline! These Raw Brownie Bites only have 4 ingredients in them and are loaded with heart healthy nuts!
I love cooking from scratch and eating non-processed foods. There are a lot of fruit and nut snack bar options out there these days, but it really is so simple to make them yourself and know what ingredients you are using. This is one of my favorite raw fruit and nut combos, with the addition of cocoa powder, they taste like a decadent dessert! Whip up a batch and treat yourself!
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup of finely ground almonds
- Process the walnuts, dates, cocoa powder, and salt in a food processor until finely chopped and forming a sticky "dough". Shape the dough into 1" balls, then roll the balls in the ground almonds. Store in the refrigerator.
